The Ahwahnee Bunkhouse - Lodging for your group from 1 to 13 guests In the old west, the ranch hands had their lodging in the bunkhouse. The bunkhouse had open rooms with several beds, and a common area for reading or playing games. Similarly, the Ahwahnee Bunkhouse has two large bed rooms with several beds, and a large common area. Located on a 4-acre property with live oak trees. It's a 2-story bunkhouse, with modest, dorm-style accommodations, 20 miles from Yosemite National Park. Besides the 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, the common room has 2 tables with chairs, serving table, refrigerator, and small appliances for simple cooking. In the bathroom, the shower and commode are separated from the two sinks by a door so that more than one person can use the area at the same time. There is a game room with ping pong, air hockey, and a junior pool table. The back yard has small fire pit (wood provided). If you are new to Yosemite and/or would like some help in making the most of your visit, we are able to provide a guide service to the Park. We operated a Yosemite tour service for 12 years. We are no longer registered with the Park, However, we can provide the service to you as House Guests. We are not allowed to charge for the service, but we can accept a gratuity. If you would like to use this service, please let us know ahead of your visit.
